Weill Cornell Medicine continues to work tirelessly at the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic. Your gift will have an immediate impact.

Weill Cornell Medicine is leading the way in the global effort to end the coronavirus pandemic, expanding knowledge of COVID-19 through research and clinical studies. Since the start of this crisis, we have mobilized every resource to bring compassionate care to patients and make scientific strides to benefit public health. Your contribution will be used to support our COVID-19 response efforts, and we are profoundly grateful for your partnership at this critical time.

Recognizing our Donors

The outpouring of generosity by our donors allowed us to quickly respond to this crisis and provide the funding we needed to be nimble, focused and forward-thinking. It allowed us to provide world-class care for our patient community and for our healthcare heroes by:

  • Supplying tens of thousands of face masks, respirators, gowns, gloves and other personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Serving a total of 427,370 meals from April through July made possible by financial support and in-kind donations of more than 10,000 meals, snacks and drinks for front-line workers
  • Enabling us to allocate $1 million to a relief fund for employees in need of support, due to extraordinary financial hardship directly related to the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Providing 28,500 days of child and elder care for 1,089 children and seniors from March through June for 742 clinical staff working on the front lines in the ICU, Emergency Department, testing labs and other units and practice sites
  • Broadening our telemedicine capacity to ensure the safety and wellness of our patients with the same high level of care
  • Expanding research studies and clinical trials in testing capacity and strategy
  • Launching a number of mental health support initiatives to support the Weill Cornell Medicine workforce facing sustained stress and anxiety

We are grateful to the following donors who provided $10,000 or more in monetary and/or in-kind support to aid Weill Cornell Medicine’s COVID-19 response. If you wish to be removed from this list, or would like to amend your listing, please email donorrelations@med.cornell.edu.
